I love to smile, and I love it when people smile back at me. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to become an orthodontist and why I love it so much. I can’t imagine anything more gratifying than giving my patients a smile they love. Every patient is unique, and I jump at the opportunity to make such a positive difference in someone’s life. I have the most wonderful patients! My team and I love getting to know our patients and their families. They’re not just our patients; they’re our friends. I get to spend all day making my friends smile. What could be better than that?
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University before receiving my dental training. I attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, earning my Doctorate of Dental surgery, and completed my orthodontic training at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, receiving my Master of Science in Dentistry and Certification in Orthodontics.
In order to provide the best care possible, I know that I need to stay abreast of all the newest technology in the orthodontic field. I participate in many continuing education programs at meetings throughout the country and through online programs. I love continuing education because I love to learn, and the more I know, the better I can serve my patients. I’m dedicated to staying current with the ever-evolving technology in my field.
I am originally from Rexburg, ID, and my family and I have loved Spokane Valley and the surrounding area since we moved here. Spending time with my wife, Abby, and our four children, Connor, Ellie, Mason and Emery is my absolute favorite thing to do. I also enjoy hiking, skiing and boating in the beautiful Northwest, reading all types of books, listening to and making music, watching and playing all types of sports, running, and going to Zumba with my wife.
I feel it’s my obligation and responsibility to make a difference in my community. My community is where my family and I live and where my children will grow up. I want to do my part to make it a wonderful place. My team and I are actively supporting Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, 2ndHarvest Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity-Spokane. I am also a Cub Scout leader and actively involved in my church.
